The Center for Animal Resources and Education (CARE) is growing. Through BIRCH, and under the leadership of the institutional officials and attending veterinarian, teams are working diligently to merge Brown University Health’s Central Research Facilities (CRF) with CARE. For more than 10 years, veterinary services have been provided to Brown University Health by Brown University. Integrating the programs will fully align our veterinary services, compliance teams, systems, and operations. We also can more strategically use space across our two organizations to meet the demands of our research community.
